Welcome to the new Global Employer Directory
The Global Employer Directory is an enhancement to 12twenty’s existing Employer Directory, designed to provide an expanded network of employers across the platform to boost employer discovery. With the All Employers tab, Admin users can view all employers across the network, improving employer visibility, facilitating connections, and streamlining employer management.

Configuration Requirements
Before you can access the Global Employer Directory, the following conditions must be met:
- Your site must include the Employer Relations Management module (ERM).
- 12twenty must enable the global directory for you. On launch, all undergraduate/graduate site instance types will default to "Enabled."

Navigating the Global Employer Directory
When enabled, Admins will see two distinct tabs in the Employer Directory:
1. Platform Employers
- This tab displays employers directly connected to your school’s 12twenty site instance.
- Note: the display name of this tab will adopt the name of your site instance (e.g. 'CareerHub Employers' from the screenshot below)
2. All Employers
- This new tab showcases the broader network of employers across 12twenty and contains a comprehensive list of eligible companies, allowing users to search, filter, and connect with employers in our network more effectively.
- Search and filter functionality includes the following:
- A search bar that can be used to search by Company Name
- Filters for # of Employees and Industry
Understanding the Employer List (All Employers)
Each employer record in the list view includes the following:
- Employer Name & Logo – This provides quick recognition of the company.
- Connection Status – A green Connected badge appears for companies that are already linked to your platform.
- Those who are not linked to your platform will display a gray "+ Add to Platform Employers" button that can be clicked in order to linked the employer to your platform.
Understanding the Employer Profile (Non-Connected Employers)
Employers that are not linked to your platform will display a limited employer profile containing the following tabs:
1. Home
- This tab displays the employer profile information as seen in their Global Employer Profile
- This tab does not include job postings or events
2. Contacts
- This tab lists 12twenty Network Contacts associated with the employer, including their Name, Job Title, Location, and Recent Activity.
- The Email column contains a button that allows you to send an email directly to that contact. If the contact replies, they will be sent to your email address.
- The Recent Activity column contains the following badges:
- Recently Active (Green) - the contact has logged in within the last 90 days
- Within Last Year (Yellow) - the contact has logged in within the last 91-365 days
Adding an Employer to Your Platform
Admin users can add employers to their platform from both the list view and the profile view.
- From the List view, users can click the gray + Add to Platform Employers button
- From the Profile view, users can click the Add Employer button.

Both of these actions above will produce a confirmation message in the top right corner of the screen.
- The confirmation message contains a View Employer Profile button that will take you directly to the employer's profile.
