12twenty Reports, unlike Custom Reports, cannot be customized or edited. They are also not standardized like ABA or MBA CSEA reports. Instead, they are built by 12twenty to give schools quick, out-of-the-box insights into student outcomes, site usage, and job search progress—without requiring setup or configuration.
This article includes an overview of 12twenty Reports, a breakdown of the different report types available, and answers to frequently asked questions about how they work and how to interpret the data they display.

12twenty Reports Overview
Located on the left-hand navigation menu under the Reports module, 12twenty Reports are their own category in the menu because they are separate from both Custom Reports and Standard Reports. 12twenty Reports cannot be edited to include or exclude different columns or values, however, they do have filters that allow administrators to identify specific groups of students for review:
After making modifications to the filters in the "Student Reporting" section it is necessary to click the "Get Results" button in order to update the results on the report below. Clicking "Export Results" will download a .csv file of the report most recently generated by clicking the "Get Results" button.
To the top-right of the page a drop-down menu shows the currently selected 12twenty report. Clicking the drop-down menu will display other 12twenty reports and allow users to switch quickly between what report is currently being viewed.
Please note that not all 12twenty Reports are available for all sites.
The 12twenty Report itself will be below the filters. It is always a table with various columns and rows showing the data from the students selected via the filters above after clicking "Get Results."
Below most 12twenty Reports there is a "Notes" section. The Notes explain how these reports calculate the values in each row/column. The number for each note will be listed on the corresponding value in the report, for example, in the above image Student Outcomes has a 1 next to it, which means that the entire report is affected by the first note in its note section. In contrast, "No reported Outcomes" has a 2 next to it, so the second note on the Student Outcomes Report only affects that row.
Types of 12twenty Reports
The results for any of 12twenty's Reports will always be modified by the filters selected before clicking "Get Results." All 12twenty Reports respect the options configured under Reports in your Site Settings.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why doesn't this 12twenty Report match the numbers from my Custom Report?
12twenty Reports are not expected to match Custom Reports. While the two kinds of reports may have similar rows and columns, often the Notes section of a 12twenty Report will include reasons why the values are different from a Custom Report made in 12twenty. It's important to make sure that nothing in the Notes would exclude a student from a 12twenty Report that is included in your Custom Report. If you're seeing a discrepancy or incorrect number in a 12twenty Report that is not explained by the Notes then please reach out to support@12twenty.com for assistance.
Why doesn’t the “# of Students Seeking Employment” in the Employment Search Progress report match the sum of its subtotals (Received Offers, No Received Offers, Accepted Offers)?
The total includes all approved, reportable “Still Seeking” outcomes—even when a single student has more than one such outcome (e.g., “Still Seeking – No Received Offers” and “Still Seeking – Received Offer”). However, in the subtotals, that student is only counted once under the most advanced category. This can make the overall total appear greater than the sum of the subtotals.
Similarly, when filtering by attributes like Work Authorization, students may appear in the overall total but only once in a single subtotal, which may make them appear to “drop off” from broader groupings.
Why are some rows or columns missing from my 12twenty report?
Some reports only display data for students who meet specific filter or outcome criteria. Be sure to review the Notes section for exclusions or requirements.
