How to upload new employers

  1. Navigate to the Data Upload Tools page by selecting “Site Management”, then “Data Uploads”.

  1. Select the “Download CSV Template” drop down, then select “Employers” and "Add New."

  1. Add your data into the template, making sure to leave the column headers unchanged. The unique identifier used in the Employer Upload & Update Tool is "Employer Name". The only required field is the Employer Name. This will serve as the unique identifier for any future updates. You can add any additional information you would like to the Employer profile, but you only need to fill the fields you are wanting to update. Leave any others blank.

  2. Save the template file. Be sure to keep the "CSV" file format.

  3. Upload the document by selecting "+ New Upload" on the Data Upload Tools page, attach the CSV file with your data, select "Employer” for Type, and select “ Add New” for Upload Method.

  1. Once the data uploads it will be tagged as either “Success” or “Invalid”.

7. If the upload is "Invalid”, the red box will appear to tell you what what went wrong in the upload. This usually happens when the unique identifier does not match or when "Update Existing" is selected instead of "Add New" for either the CSV or the upload.
