Core Student Profile Attributes (Roster Check)

Before tracking outcomes, ensure the following fields are accurately filled out on your student profiles:

  • Program: Verifies the track is designated for the Full-Time MBA cohort.
  • Grad Year/Term: Maps the student to the correct annual reporting window.
  • Active Status: This field must equal Yes. Deactivated accounts are completely hidden from standard report pools.
  • Consolidated Work Authorization: The platform uses only this specific field to split graduates into "Permanent" vs. "Non-Permanent" tables.
    • Standard fields like "Work Authorization Status" or "Country of Citizenship" will not process this breakdown. If left blank, the report will safely place the student into a "Work Authorization Not Reported" bucket so they are still included in your totals.
  • Undergraduate Major Location: Found under the Past Education section of the student's profile.
  • Years of Experience: Can be updated on the profile or inside the outcome. Count full-time, professional work experience completed after earning an undergraduate degree, calculated up to graduation day. Enter this as a number rounded to a single decimal place (e.g., 1.5).
    • Pro Tip: Turn on the "Survey on Login for Attributes" feature for this field to keep profile data accurate automatically.

Outcome Survey Settings (Job Offer Fields)

When a student logs a job offer, ensure these required attributes are collected to populate your compliance tables correctly:

  • The Basics: Employer, Function, and Industry.
  • Location: Country, City, and State (State is only required if the country is the United States).
  • Key Timestamps: Offer Accepted Date, Offer Received Date, and Reported Date.
    • Data Entry Rule: For the Reported Date, log the day the student reported it or the admin learned about the job, not today's calendar date.
  • Knowledge Source: Student entries default to “Student Reported”. Admins must manually choose the accurate source if entering data on behalf of a graduate.
  • Compensation: Base Salary and Signing Bonus.
  • Other: Job Source.

Best Practice: Real-Time Tracking Reports

💡 Reporting Best Practice: To make tracking a breeze, navigate to the Custom Reports tool to monitor your data health. We recommend building two distinct templates—a Student Report to audit core roster attributes and an Outcomes Report to audit job details. Saving these reports lets your team easily spot and fill missing fields in real time, saving you from a massive data-cleanup project at the end of the term!
