Understanding the Outcomes List
The Outcomes page is a list of Outcomes in rows where each column represents key information about the outcome for that row. Currently it is not possible to customize the columns that display on this page, to develop a detailed report on Student Outcomes we recommend utilizing the Custom Reports module instead.
Outcome Columns
- Outcome Summary – Displays the outcome details including a logo or placeholder icon. Click to open the outcome slideout for more details.
- Student Summary – Brief information about the associated student.
- Job Phase – A badge showing the current job phase. This appears as the first badge on each outcome and uses your platform's configured job phase names.
- Total Compensation – The compensation amount with pay type (e.g., "$120,000 per year" or "$30 per hour"). The pay period is displayed beneath the compensation value. If compensation data is not available, this field will be blank.
- Approval Status – A badge showing the current approval status of the outcome.
Outcome Icons
The outcome summary includes a logo or icon to help you quickly identify the outcome type:
-
Company logo – Displayed when a company logo is available
-
Building icon – Default for most outcome types without a company logo
-
Graduation cap – Continuing Education outcomes
-
Search icon – Still Seeking Employment or Still Seeking Education outcomes
-
Person icon – Used for outcomes such as Not Working, Retired, Postponing Job Search, Caring for Family, Taking Time Off, or Not Seeking/Other Intention
Outcome Page Actions
Various actions are available on the Outcome page for individual outcomes via the outcome slideout menu and in bulk via the bulk actions menu.

From the slideout menu admin users can:
- Access the Actions menu to perform the same actions available on the student profile page
- Add a Note to the outcome
Bulk Actions Menu
The action menu at the top of the page provides options for working with multiple outcomes at once, use the checkbox to the left of the outcomes you want edit and choose the options from the list as seen below:

- Email Selected – Send an email to the students associated with your selected outcomes. Requires the Email Students in Bulk permission.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Last Edited sort option using when I change my filters?
The "Last Edited" sort option uses the outcome's last modified date.
Is the Offer Status badge different on the Outcomes page than what is on the student's profile?
No, the Offer Status badge appears on the outcome summary, consistent with how it displays on the student profile page.
What do outcomes without compensation data show in the Total Compensation column?
If an outcome does not have compensation data, the Total Compensation column will be empty.
My Job Phases in the Outcomes page doesn't match what is on the MBA CSEA/NACE/NALP, etc., why not?
Job Phase badges use the display names configured for your platform and will match the outcome entered on the Student's Profile. Your site configures the names of Outcomes on their survey during onboarding, more details are available in the What is a Job Phase? article. If you have more questions or need these names to be adjusted please contact 12twenty Support.
