Mentorships
Mentors can now snooze mentorship requests! Users that have opted in to participate as mentors now have the option to pause new incoming requests for a specified amount of time.
We're also introducing mentorship terms! Potential mentors can now outline their terms to students requesting them as a mentor. When students reach out, they are presented with the terms. Once a request is accepted, the terms are also included in the Mentorship Request Accepted notification.
To pause requests, users navigate to the General tab of their Account Settings page, set Snooze Mentorship Availability to Yes, and select a Snooze End Date. Mentorship Terms are also accessible via the the General tab of the Account Settings page.
Kiosk (Name Tags)
Name tags now automatically default to using student Preferred Names! When a 12twenty event kiosk is taking advantage of automatic name tag printing, each name tag will include a student's Preferred Name, if available. If a student does not have a Preferred Name on their profile, the name tag will continue to use their First Name.
Experiential Learning
The experiential learning form now allows you to search for students by Name, Email, or Student ID!
As an admin, navigate to the Experiential Learning module and select the New Experience button. From here, use the Student field to search for users by name, email address or student ID.

Job Postings
Admins are now able to bulk reject pending job postings! To bulk reject jobs, navigate to your pending job posting queue, multi-select from the list as needed, and use the Actions menu to select Reject.
Appointments
The Appointment module's Location picklist can now be mapped to a core location type of "Virtual" or "In-Person." To add or edit a Location picklist value, navigate to the Picklists tab of the Appointments site setting page, and select Location. Use the action menu to add a new value, and be sure to set the Core Location Type to "Virtual" or "In-Person."
No action is required. Existing location values have been automatically mapped by 12twenty. However, we recommend reviewing your Location picklist to ensure everything is accurate.
Events
For time-slot style events, student users can now swap time slots with each other across rooms, and are no longer limited to swap requests within their scheduled room.

Introducing the new 12twenty Kiosk for Events and Appointments! We’re excited to announce a new way to streamline event and appointment check-ins. With the 12twenty Kiosk, admins can set up sessions for seamless check-ins at events, career fairs, and for all in-person appointments.

- Students arrive at a kiosk and swipe their student ID card.
- They’re instantly checked in for their event or appointment.
- For career fairs, a customized name tag is automatically printed upon check-in.

OCI
When copying a virtual meeting link for OCIs utilizing 12twenty video, users are now presented with the full list of unique interviewer links! Simply select a link to copy to your clipboard, and share as needed. Note that the "Admin Link" option is not displayed for employer users.
Mentorships
Two new settings have been added, allowing you to further customize the mentorships module to fit the needs of your mentorships program!
- Mentorships Request Button Text: Use this setting to customize the text users see when requesting mentors. For example, enter "as a Peer Mentor" for the request button to display as "Request Jessica as a Peer Mentor."
- Allow mentors to be contacted directly: Use this setting to control if users are allowed to message prospective mentors via the Connect button, in addition to sending mentor requests. When disabled, the Connect button on mentor profiles is unavailable.
Survey on Login
12twenty has deprecated the initial student sign up survey. Data previously captured via the sign up survey can be collected via Survey on Login, which provides a more streamlined and intuitive user experience for students signing up and returning to the platform. To ensure you continue to collect critical student information, we encourage users to build Survey on Login workflows as needed via the Login tab of the Students & Alumni site setting page.

Survey on Login
Admins are now able to collect Past Education data via the student survey on login workflow! To start collecting Undergrad School & Undergrad Major data for students logging in to your platform, navigate to the Login tab of the Students & Alumni site setting page, and enable the new 'Collect Past Education Data on Login' setting.

Please note that 12twenty will be deprecating the "initial sign up survey" on October 31st, 2024, as all of the information asked of new students here can also be collected via Survey on Login. Survey on Login provides a more streamlined and intuitive user experience for students signing up and returning to the platform. To prepare for this change and ensure you continue to collect critical student information, we encourage users to build Survey on Login workflows as needed via the Login tab of the Students & Alumni site setting page.
Last Modified Date
To more accurately reflect changes within your platform, 12twenty now automatically updates the "Last Modified Date" of any object that is affected by a merge action. For example, when merging Employer A into Employer B, any objects previously related to Employer A (e.g. contacts, job postings, events, etc.) will be updated with a new Last Modified Date.

Job Posting Homepage
A new carousel row has been added to the student job posting homepage: Top Destinations!
Intelligently using outcome data reported in the last 18 months, 12twenty calculates the top 20 cities where your students are finding employment, and displays those as selectable tiles. When a user selects a top destination tile, they are sent to the Job Posting search page with the corresponding location filter automatically applied.
Job Posting & Event Homepage
Students that are registered for events or interviews will now see those events/OCIs on the Job Posting & Event homepages within the new "Your events today" and "Your interviews today" carousels!
Job Postings & Events - Promote
The notification that is sent to students when admins use the "promote" functionality now includes the admin sender's name for reference, in the following format: Sent to you on behalf of <Sender's Name>
Standard Reporting (ABA) - Law Schools
The Graduate Employment Status Date for the Class of 2024 has been updated to March 17th, 2025, per ABA guidelines. As such, outcomes with a Reported Date of March 18th, 2025 and later will be classified as Deferred.

Data Upload Tool
The 12twenty Data Upload Tool is now faster than ever, with new intelligent functionality that helps you get new data uploaded into your platform with ease!
- The validation of the data uploaded now happens at the row level, rather than a dedicated "Validating" stage for the entire file. The uploader will validate row 1, and if that row passes, it will immediately begin uploading the data in row 1, and move on to validating row 2, etc.
- If a row contains an error, the Data Upload Tool will skip that row and move on the next row in the file.
- Once complete, any skipped rows containing errors are provided back to you via a dedicated Error File: a .csv file containing only the rows needing correction(s).
- The 12twenty error file provided to you includes an additional column, Error, that denotes the exact error(s) you need to resolve for each remaining row.
- Once errors are resolved, users may upload the corrected error file to complete the upload process. You do not need to delete the additional Error column, as 12twenty will ignore it.
An example of the resulting Error File, with the new "Error" column specifying the error(s) found in each row.
OCI Command Center
When messaging participants in an interview from the Interview Command Center, admin users now have the ability to send their message to either the student, interviewer(s), or both!

Student Employment
Admins and employers now have the ability to record a Hire Date when marking a student as hired on a student employment job posting. The selected Hire Date is visible to users on the Applicants tab of the job posting, is available as a column and filter on the Custom Applicants Report, and can be used as a merge tag in the Student Employment Applicant Hired email notification.
Standard Reporting (ABA) - Law Schools
Language and references to “passing the bar" have been updated to “admission to the bar," per ABA guidelines for reporting on the Class of 2024. This change is visible on the Employment Requirement picklist, the ABA Employment Status Table, and the ABA Employment Questionnaire Format Export.

Job Posting Homepage
Over the next week, 12twenty will begin to progressively roll out the all-new dynamic job posting homepage for students! The new homepage experience presents students & alumni with an engaging and personalized view of available job postings. Here are a few things to know:
- Want to learn more about the new student experience? All the details about the new homepage experience can be found here!
- Please note that the "Top Destinations" carousel is not yet available, but will soon be added to the homepage experience. You can expect to see the "Top Destinations" carousel added to the homepage by the end of September 2024.
- The Events homepage experience is coming soon! To preview the Events Homepage, log in as a student, navigate to the Events module, and select the pop-up that appears at the top of your screen.
Events
For events utilizing 12twenty video, there is now a unique link you can share with participating employers! This link allows employers to attend the virtual event without needing to log in, and can be shared with all of the employers attending. To access the link, navigate to any virtual event using 12twenty video, and use the more actions icon next to the virtual meeting information to select "Copy Employer Meeting URL."
Filters
Across the platform, search functionality now respects character accents within names. For example, the student Renée Smith will now be returned if you search for "Renee" or "Renée" using keyword search or filters.

Appointments
Admin users are now able to transfer appointments between advisors! To move a single appointment to a new advisor, simply edit the appointment and select a new advisor from the picklist. To move all the appointments on an adviser's calendar for the day to a new advisor, navigate to the list view of the Appointments module, select the "exchange" icon, and select a new advisor and location. Students and both advisors will be notified of updates to their appointments via email.
Attributes
Student education attributes such as Program, Academic Major, and Grad Year have been moved to a dedicated form within site settings. To manage education attributes, navigate to the Attributes tab of the Students & Alumni site settings page and select Education from the dropdown. These attributes are displayed on the Education tile of the student profile's Home tab.

Job Posting & Event Homepage
The all-new dynamic homepage presents students & alumni with an engaging and personalized experience for the Job Posting & Event homepages. Ready to check it out? Here are a few things to know:
- All the details on the new homepage experience can be found in the help center article.
- The homepage is only currently visible to admins
- To preview the Job Posting Homepage, log in as a student and visit the job listings page. You will see a pop up that allows you to preview the homepage
- Please note that over the next couple of weeks, we will add two final sections to the page: "Top Destinations" and "Dynamic Sections." To learn more about these sections, please visit the homepage experience article.
- As you are logged in as the student, clicking on a job posting will open it in a slide out on the page, and will result in a "Viewed" tag to appear on the tile, so we recommend only clicking on jobs which have the "Viewed" tag already.
- The "Events" homepage will be available in the coming weeks.

The 12twenty Mentorships module is here! The mentorships module offers a comprehensive solution that connects students with alumni mentors to build meaningful connections and achieve professional development goals.
12twenty's advanced recommendation engine leverages data provided by students and alumni to suggest the strongest mentor matches. Students are able to browse alumni profiles, send mentorship requests, and communicate seamlessly through the platform. Admin-curated mentorship tasks guide participants along the way, ensuring each match is set up for success. Dedicated analytics help you analyze participant progress, and measure the overall success of your mentorship program.

Account Settings
The user Account Settings page has been updated and organized into three distinct tabs: General, Security, & Integrations.
The General tab includes basic account information, time zone preference, and outcome notification settings. The Security tab allows users to manage their password. The Integrations tab includes calendar sync and virtual meeting integrations.
API
A new endpoint has been added to the 12twenty API: Orders. The orders endpoint allows API users to access and retrieve invoice information associated with career fair & OCI orders.

OCI
An all-new and improved UI is here for Rotational Schedules! OCIs with rotating schedules now display room pairs as side-by-side columns, making it easier for admins and employers to understand that students will rotate halfway through their time slot to meet with a second interviewer.
To create a rotating schedule, add a standard schedule to an OCI and use the associated Action menu to select Convert to Rotational Schedule.
Rotating room pairs are now automatically kept in sync with each other, removing the need to manually apply any schedule changes to both rooms. Use each column's dedicated Room Actions menu to assign a location and/or interviewer(s).

Notice of Upcoming Update: Zoom <> Virtual Meeting URL
To expand access to virtual meetings on the platform, 12twenty will replace the "Zoom" integration on the admin account settings page with a Virtual Meeting Room URL. Users will be able to use this on other places within the site, like appointments, just like they can today with Zoom, by inputing their personal meeting URL for their conferencing platform of choice.
Once the update is made, users will need to add their personal meeting URL to their account settings, even if they previously linked their Zoom account. This update will arrive by the end of the summer, and another notice will be provided as we move closer to this date.

Student Attributes
Admins now have even greater control over attributes on the student profile! Admins can now create new attribute groups, re-name sections as needed, and control the order of groups displayed on student profiles!
To create new custom attribute sections, navigate to the Attributes tab of the Students & Alumni site setting page and use the ellipses menu to select Add New Section. To re-order sections, use that same menu to select Reorder Section.
To re-name an existing section, navigate to that section on the Attributes tab of the Students & Alumni site setting page and use the associated ellipses menu to select Edit Section.
OCI
A new OCI period rule has been added: Allow students with losing lottery bids to self-select slots.
This rule allows students who have lost a lottery bid to sign up for any remaining unassigned time slots. 12twenty recommends taking advantage of this new rule when using lottery to fill up any remaining time slots with students who originally expressed interest for those interviews, on an equitable first-come/first-serve basis.

This module provides law schools with an up-to-date directory of judges serving on federal courts, and includes each judge's full mailing address, email, phone number, education background, political affiliation, and more! Paid OCI Registrations now include the Fee Note field when the entered fee is $0. Previously, the Fee Note field was only available when a fee was applied to the registration.

Data Upload Tool
The maximum upload limit for the Data Upload Tool has been increased from 5,000 to 20,000 records per upload!
Admins are now able to update student Primary Email Addresses via the Data Upload Tool! To update a student's primary email, include their 12twenty ID in the Unique Identifier column, and their new email address in the Email Address column of a Student - Update template.
Outcomes
On the internship job phase's Accepted Internship outcome survey, students now have the option to submit their internship outcome and add another internship!

- Analytics - Resolved an issue that caused some job postings to display inaccurate analytics data.
- Events - Resolved an issue that sometimes caused event time slots to inadvertently update when editing an event set to a different time zone.
- Custom Reports - Resolved an issue that prevented users from including the Data Freshness filter on Custom Outcome by Attribute Reports.

Analytics
12twenty's "Analytics Everywhere" is now live! Analytics Everywhere provides instant, 1-click analytics across various modules. The tool also allows admins to “compare” data across different time periods using 12twenty's Intelligent Time Shifting methodology. Analytics Everywhere gives admins visibility into high-level activity occurring in the most important modules, without having to create custom reports. “Analytics Everywhere” is now available in the sub-menu of the following modules:

🛠 Fixed
- Standard Reporting (ABA) - Resolved an issue that caused some students reporting an Own Venture outcome to be miscategorized as Employment Status Unknown. Students reporting an Own Venture outcome that meet the relevant ABA reporting criteria are now properly categorized as Employed.

OCI
The existing OCI Management page has been moved to the sub-menu of the OCI & Job Listings module. To navigate to the management page, select the OCI & Job Listings module from the left hand navigation panel to expose the sub-menu, and select OCI Management.
Events
The Events module now displays the full date and time range for each event! Previously, only the Start Date/Time was displayed.
🛠 Fixed
- OCI - Time slot notes on rotating schedules are now specific to the student assigned to the time slot. Previously, the time slot note was added to the exported schedule for both students that "rotated" for the given time slot.

Employers
The Employer field now displays exact text matches at the top of the suggested auto-complete list. The auto-complete options that appear as a user types will include an exact text match as the first suggested option in the list.
OCI
Virtual schedules now include the optional "Room Note" field that was previously only available for non-virtual schedules.

Data Upload Tool
Admins are now able to clear attribute values via the Data Upload Tool! To remove a value from a record, process an "update existing" upload file, and use the value "(null)" in your template.
For example, the below student update file will remove a student's Assigned Adviser when processed.
Document Review
When sending a pending resume back to a student for updates, admins are now able to include a message with rich text (bold, underline, bullet point list, etc.) to the student! The maximum character count limit has also been increased to 4,000.
🛠 Fixed
- Custom Reports - Restored the 'Views' and 'Impressions' columns included on Custom Job Posting Reports.
- OCI - Resolved an issue that prevented admins from reserving time slots on OCI schedules.
