Events

Admins can now control the employer visibility of the student registrants list for individual events and career fairs! When approving or posting a new event, admins may choose if the student registrants list is immediately available to employers, available only after student registration has closed, or unavailable to employers.

🥳 New Features/Improvements

Job Postings

Admins and employers posting jobs to the system can now easily encourage students to apply immediately! When posting a new job, users are asked how they plan on reviewing applicants. If the user indicates they will review applicants as they come in, the Job Application Deadline will be replaced with the text 'Apply Immediately' to users across the platform, encouraging users to apply swiftly as the job posting may close early.

User Impersonation

Impersonating a user now opens an impersonation session in a new tab, concurrently logging you in as that user in addition to your account!

Email Activity

The 'recipients' tab of emails sent from the platform now includes a Status filter! Users can filter for email delivery statuses of Delivered, Not Delivered, Processing, or Bounced.

Document Review

The 'Primary Resume' filter has been added to the Document Review module! Users may search for primary and non-primary resumes using this filter.

Contacts

Contact 'zip code' is now available as a column and filter option on Custom Contact Reports!

Employers

The 'Hires' tab of employer profiles now respects the "Include in Reporting" setting for each outcome! Only outcomes "included in reporting" are included on the Hires tab of employer profiles.

  • Document Review - Resolved an issue that prevented admin users from downloading application documents from the pending documents page.
  • OCI - Resolved an issue that prevented a student's assigned interviewer from displaying on the student view of OCIs.

Events

Admin and employer users can now create multi-day events for any event type! To create an event that spans multiple dates, select '+ Add Date' below the Event Date/Time field to add additional dates as needed.

Outcomes

A new standard outcome attribute, Location Type, has been added to the Accepted Job outcome survey to help track remote/hybrid work! Location Type asks students to specify if they are working in office, 100% remote, or hybrid. Users who report they are working a hybrid remote/in-person position are also asked how many days a week they are in the office.

Contacts & Employers

Two new attributes, Create Date and 12twenty ID, are now available for both contacts and employers! When building a Custom Contact or Employer Report, Create Date and 12twenty ID can be used as a column and/or filter. Create Date and 12twenty ID are also available as filters on the Contact and Employer Directories.

Employers

The employer profile Hires tab can now be filtered by job phase! Select one or more job phases to filter the results to only display relevant hires. Additionally, the Hires tab is now sorted chronologically by Reported Date, displaying the most recently reported hires at the top of the page.

Appointments

A new career center user role permission, User Can Only View Own Appointments, has been added! Admins may use this permission to create roles that may only access their own appointment blocks/appointments. Users with a role that has this permission enabled may not view or access appointments assigned to other advisers.

Appointments

The Custom Appointment Report can now be filtered for appointments that do (or do not) have an appointment note! Use the new "Has Note" filter to find appointments that have an associated appointment note.

Job Postings

The job posting form's standard work authorization attribute is now multi-select, and includes a new 'STEM' picklist option!

Events

A new event notification for employers, Event Declined, has been added! The event declined notification is sent to employer users when their pending event has been rejected by an admin user, and includes the reason for rejection.

  • Students - Resolved an issue that caused date fields on the student profile to display with incorrect formatting. Dates are now displayed in MM/DD/YYYY format for US platforms, and DD/MM/YYYY format for EU platforms.
  • Students - Resolved an issue where a student's Program was not included in various locations where student information is displayed (e.g. Document Review list page, multiple enrollment account selection page).
  • Students - Resolved an issue that prevented admin users from clearing out single-select fields on the student profile.
  • API - Resolved an issue that erroneously caused errors to be returned for some calls to the API's Appointment Blocks endpoint.
  • Events - Resolved an issue that caused variants created for the 'Event Company Registration' email notification not to be respected.

Document Review

The all-new Document Review module has arrived! The Document Review module allows admins to configure approval requirements for any document type/student group combination, including Resumes, Cover Letters, and more! Document Review supports bulk approval actions, student auto approval for any document type, and comprehensive audit logs for each document uploaded to the platform. To learn more, click here.

Events

Events now support embedded videos! To add an embedded video to the description of an event, simply select the video icon and paste a YouTube or Vimeo link.

  • Custom Reports - Resolved an issue that caused incorrect options to appear for the Note Type filter on the Custom Activities Report.
  • Appointments - Resolved an issue that prevented the appointment filters embedded in a copied URL from being respected.

🥳 New Features/Improvements

Magic Login Link

Admins are now able to include a "magic" login link in emails to students, allowing students to directly access their account without needing to log in! To send a magic login link, draft an email to students from the Student Directory and include the 'Magic Login Link' merge tag. Magic login links may only be sent to students via email, and each unique link expires after 7 days.

Appointments

Student emails are now included in calendar sync events brought over to an admin's personal calendar when a new appointment is booked. The student's email is now also displayed to admins when viewing an individual appointment, as well as on the Appointment Scheduled email notification.

The appointment type is now displayed to users below each booked appointment on the list view of the appointments calendar.

A new career fair email notification, "Event Reminder (Career Fair)", is now available! When enabled, an email reminder is sent to the primary contact associated to each approved career fair registration. Admins can control the number of hours prior to the career fair start time the reminder is sent via the Notifications tab of the Event site settings page.

Custom Reports

The all-new Custom Activities Report is now available to admin users! The activities report can be used to report on everything located in the Activity Stream module -- Notes, Tasks, & Meetings associated to all Employers and/or Contacts. The available columns and filters correspond to activity fields as well as employer and contact attributes. The Custom Activities Report includes two standard columns, Employer and Contact, which are hyperlinked to each activity's associated employer and/or contact.

Career Fairs

The list of students attending a career fair, located on the Registered Students tab, is now available to all 'additional contacts' tied to an approved employer registration (in addition to each employer registration's primary contact).

Employers

The "Added By" column on the Pending Employer Approvals page now includes a short summary of the student that added a pending employer, and is now hyperlinked; simply select the student's name to open their profile in a new tab!

Employer Directory

The Hires column on the Employer Directory page and the Hires tab of an individual employer profile now reflect the same data! Both now display all relevant Before School, During School, Internship, Post Grad & Work Experience outcomes for each respective employer, including post grad Rumor Jobs (if your site settings include Rumor Jobs in reporting).

The outcomes endpoint now returns the pay period (e.g. per year, per month, per hour) along with Base Salary data!

Student Profile

The Background and Admin tabs of the student profile have been consolidated to a single streamlined Profile tab. All student attributes are now visible to admins on the new Profile tab, and attributes that are admin-only are noted with a shield icon when editing user information. Previous platform configurations (e.g. visibility and editability of the Background tab for students, individual attribute visibility/editability by user type) will continue to be respected based on your existing site settings.

Student Profile

Admins are now able to update a student's Program to any other Program! To update a student who has switched programs, edit the Profile tab of the student profile and simply update the Program value.

 

Outcomes

The "Location" and "Dates" sections of outcome surveys now support custom fields! To create a custom field in either of these sections, navigate to the Attributes tab of the Outcome Survey site settings page, and select Add New Attribute from the relevant more actions icon.

12twenty Job Postings

When approving a 12twenty Job Posting, the "Additional Details" window now automatically appears upon approval, allowing admins to easily add the Type of Job and Function/Industry or Practice Area values as they approve the posting.

Appointments

When dragging and dropping appointments or appointment blocks on the calendar view of the Appointments module, the drag and drop functionality now defaults to 15 minute intervals, rather than 30 minutes.

The student view of the Appointments module now defaults to the List view for a cleaner user experience. Students may still switch to Calendar view as needed.

Events

Admins can now easily reschedule a canceled event by duplicating an event with a Canceled status. The newly created duplicate event will default to Draft status so admins may edit as needed before publishing.

 

Job Postings

For job postings that require external application methods, we have added a confirmation modal that appears when students have not selected the external job URL (for apply via external URL) or copied the email address to their clipboard (for apply via email). The modal reminds the student that the external application is an employer requirement, and nudges them to complete the requirements.

To better assist API users with troubleshooting, the most common API errors returned by the Students endpoint have been added to our API help documentation.

  • Appointments - Resolved an issue where personal calendar events brought over from calendar sync were erroneously counted towards an appointment block's maximum appointments limit.
  • Filters  - Resolved an issue where null values were not returned when users filtered to exclude a date range. For example, when filtering to exclude dates 1/1/2022 - 1/31/2022, results should include all values with a date outside of that range as well as results without a date value.
  • Attributes - Resolved an issue where the "editable" setting for students was not respected for the Country of Citizenship attribute. If you would like to lock this attribute and set it to "view-only" for students, please contact support@12twenty.com.
  • Data Upload Tool - Resolved an issue where the "Included in Reporting" value set for outcomes uploaded via the Data Upload Tool was not respected.
  • Zoom - Resolved an issue that prevented some admin users from integrating their Zoom account with their 12twenty account.
  • Events - Resolved an issue where Student Club Users, who are able to submit events for admin approval, were able to then register for those events before they were approved.

Bulk Upload Tool

The Bulk Upload Tool now accepts either an email or a 12twenty ID as the unique identifier for students! When updating students via a bulk upload, use the new "Student Identifier (Email or 12twenty ID)" column to specify each student.

Experiential Learning

In addition to the standard experience Supervisor, the Experiential Learning module now supports Faculty Supervisors! Student can indicate a faculty supervisor, such as a Department Head or sponsoring professor, is overseeing their experience. Admins are able to integrate the Faculty Supervisor into the approval flow for initial and/or final approval as needed. To enable this functionality, navigate to the Attributes tab of the Experiential Learning site settings page and enable the fields under the new 'EL Faculty Approver' section. To add Faculty Supervisors to the approval flow, navigate to the General tab of the Experiential Learning site settings page and edit the Approval section as needed.

Employers

Admins can now manually create employer aliases! To add a new employer alias to your platform, navigate to the pending Employer approval page via the Notifications option on the left hand navigation panel, and select Employer Aliases. Select the "New Employer Alias" button to specify an employer and the new alias you would like the system to recognize it by.

Standard Reports (Law)

The calculation of long-term jobs has been modified, per ABA guidelines. The updated classification for long term jobs is now defined as "one calendar year or more from the graduation date or the Start Date, whichever is later."

 

Research Tools

For undergraduate students using Research Tools to search for outcome data insights by Major, the "Undergrad Major" attribute has been updated to reflect current student majors, rather than majors linked to past education data.

Job Postings

The standard "US Work Authorization Requirement" field on the job posting form now includes an "Unknown" option.

  • Experiential Learning - Resolved an issue that prevented students from adding hours to their hour log when an experience was in 'Needs More Information' status.
  • Job Postings - Resolved an issue where primary resumes were added to job applications for jobs where "Apply via this site" was set to No. Applications for these jobs on 12twenty confirm the student applied to the job externally, and should not include any documents.
  • Outcomes (Alumni ODA) - When an alumni user confirms they are still at their last reported Post Grad position via the Survey on Login workflow, the new Work Experience outcome that is created now reflects the current date as its Reported Date. Previously, the Reported Date was erroneously copied from the original Post Grad outcome.
  • Events - Resolved an issue where events that had been canceled continued to be promoted in the Recommended Events tile on the student homepage.
  • API - Corrected an issue that caused the StudentClubs property to be included in the response for general GET requests sent to the Students endpoint. The StudentClubs property is now only returned for GET detail requests, where a student ID is specified in the URL.

Experiential Learning

Student and employer form data can now be pulled into a report via the all-new Experiential Learning Custom Forms Report! Select a form to report on, then choose from both experience and form attributes as filters and/or columns to compile a report. Each row in the resulting report will include "Submitted by" and "Submitted at" values, which display the user and completion date/time of each form.

Appointments

Appointment blocks now support appointment buffers as well as a maximum appointment limit per block! Set an appointment buffer to ensure you have 5, 10, or 15 minutes between student appointments. Use the maximum appointments field to set a limit on the amount of total appointments that can be booked within the block.

Student Groups

Admin users can now re-order their Student Group picklist! To rearrange your student groups, navigate to the Career Services Management/General site settings page, and use the hamburger icon next to each student group to drag and drop as needed.

  • Events - The Event Registration and Event Reminder notifications sent to student users registering for a time slot style event or career fair now includes the student's selected time slot, as well as the employer they are meeting with (if applicable).

  • OCI - Resolved an issue that prevented some admins from adding breaks to OCI schedules.

Users can now keyword search within the Resource Library! Use the search bar at the top of the Resource Library to easily find resources by folder or resource name.

Job Postings

Job postings that require an external application method (e.g. Apply via External Link, Apply via Email) now allow students to confirm in 12twenty that they have completed the additional application instructions. For jobs that only require external application methods (i.e. where "Apply via this site" = No), students can confirm they have completed the application requirements and mark that job as 'applied'. This gives students the ability to better track their applications in 12twenty, regardless of requested application methods.

Job IQ

Admins can now filter Job IQ results by Program! Users can choose from a list of their platform's programs, or select 'All' to view all combined program data. Student & alumni users continue to view Job IQ data for their assigned program.

Admins can now view the original employer selection status for students with an Extended Interview status who originally had a status of Alternate or Not Selected. Filters

Date filters, such as student Last Login Date or outcome Offer Accepted Date, now have an include/exclude option! Using the exclude option, admins may now run even more targeted searches. For example, "show me all students who have not logged in to the platform in the last 30 days."

Job IQ

The following improvements have been made to our Job IQ functionality:

  • The ‘Hires’ section as well as employer rankings have been updated to now be based off of "Offer Accepted Date" as opposed to "Offer Received Date."
  • Updated the sentence on the top of job IQ to include the employer name
  • Updated the help bubble next to the “Hires” section to “Top 25 Employer” is determined by the total number of hires over the last 5 years using “Offer Accepted” date.”
  • Renamed the green “Top 25 Employer…” to “Top 25 Hiring Employer…”
  • Added a help bubble next to “Over the last year” metric - “Based on jobs with an offer accepted date in the last 365 days”
  • Added a help bubble next to the “Offer Timing” section header - “Based on “Offer Received” date.”

  • Career Fairs - Resolved an issue where employer users associated to the same company could not view career fair registrations/schedules created by coworkers.
  • Outcomes - Resolved an issue that allowed students to inadvertently create duplicate outcomes by selecting the Submit button in rapid succession.

Employer Directory

The "Targeted by" column on the main Employer Directory list page now reflects the number of students who have targeted each employer in the last year, rather than an all-time count. This change was implemented to ensure the data displayed to admins on this page is current and actionable.

The student calendar now hides personal calendar event details when viewed by admins. Personal calendar event details brought over from a student's calendar will remain visible to students.

API

The student attributes 'Languages Spoken' & 'Languages Written' have been updated to a more consistent format. When sending requests to the Students endpoint, API users can now use the property names LanguageSpoken[1-5] & LanguageWritten[1-5]. In order to maintain uninterrupted service, the system will continue to accept [First|Second|Third]LanguageSpoken & [First|Second|Third]LanguageWritten.

API

The all-new Outcomes endpoint (api/v2/outcomes) is now available to all API users! Using the Outcomes endpoint, users can pull all outcomes in their 12twenty system with a single API request. The following query parameters allow users to flexibly pull various sets of outcome data as needed, for example: "show me all outcomes modified in the last 30 days," or "all new outcomes created in the last 7 days."

Events

A new site setting, Default Event Logo, allows admins to set a default logo for all events that meet the following criteria: event is a career fair, or event has no employer association, or event has an employer association but that employer's profile does not have a logo. This ensures that, once a default event logo is added, all events will display with an event logo! To add your default logo, navigate to the Events site settings page.

  • Job IQ - Resolved an issue that prevented student users from viewing the new Job IQ data on employer profiles & job postings.
  • Career Fairs - Resolved an issue where student My Calendar events for meetings with career fair employers displayed the event's virtual URL, rather than the specific employer's virtual URL for the meeting the student booked.
  • Outcomes - Resolved an issue that caused the "+View Details" button not to display for Continuing Education outcomes on the student profile.
  • API - Resolved an issue that prevented the PageNumber query parameter from being respected when using the Appointments endpoint.

Resume Books

Resume book keyword search has arrived! Use the search bar on the Resumes tab of a resume book to search for text within the resume collection. For example, search "Product Manager" to find all files within the resume book that include that phrase.

Job IQ

Thanks to your feedback, we've made a few updates to Job IQ to provide additional context to users.

  • Each demographic section (Work Authorization, Gender and Ethnicity) now shows the % of offers that reported a demographic data point

Employers

When merging an employer value, creating an alias is now optional! Users may deselect the "create employer alias" checkbox to perform a one-time merge. Employers merged without an alias creation will not be remembered by the system, so they may re-appear in your pending queue if another user enters this value.

12twenty Job Listings

Employers can now specify their "Target Cohort" (text field) for a job, displayed in the Admin section of the job listing. This can help admins more accurately set the Eligibility criteria for each job when approving job listings from the 12twenty School Network.

Student Directory (Undergraduate Schools)

The "outcome breakdown" options available when filtering for Post Grad Reported Outcome = Still Seeking have been expanded to include Accepted an Offer, Pending Offers, All Offers Rejected, and more!

Standard Reports (Law)

The Employment Status table of the ABA report now has a dedicated row for the "Employed - Law School/University Funded" category. In addition, the “Employed - Other Professional Position” row has been renamed to “Employed - Professional Position” and “Employed – Non-Professional Position” row has been renamed to “Employed – Other Position”, in line with the latest ABA guidelines.

 

Appointments

The display text for the recently added "No Show" attribute for appointments is now configurable! Admins may rename this attribute as needed via the Attributes tab of the Appointments site setting page, for example, "Did Not Attend."

  • Student Directory - Resolved an issue that caused some students' information to be shown outside of their respective tile when viewing the Student Directory as an admin.
  • Email Analytics - Resolved an issue that caused less specific delivery statuses to display on the Email Analytics page for emails sent to individual recipients (e.g. "✓Sent", rather than "Delivered").

Outcomes

For pending offers, a new "Accept" and "Reject" quick action button is now available, allowing users to easily update their offer status. Applies to pending offers across all job phases. Additionally, the "Magnifier" glass icon that previously expanded an outcomes details has been replaced with ac "+ View Details" text link.

Appointments

By popular demand, a new "No Show" feature has been added to appointments. This option shows in the appointment modal, as well as the appointment list page. Additionally, if you prefer to only collect appointment "No Shows," you can simply disable the "Attendance" attribute under site settings, and vice versa.

Job Postings

By popular demand, we've brought over the "Interviewer" section from an OCI job posting to regular job postings, allowing you to indicate which contacts from an employer will be participating in the interview. We've also added the ability to add custom attributes to the "Interview Detail" section as well!

Experiential Learning now has it's own API endpoint! Accessible via the "Experiences" API endpoint, Experiential Learning data can now be pulled out of the platform.

  • Events - Resolved an issue that prevented a student or admin from unregistering a registrant from a time slot event (deployed 1/5/22)
  • Custom Reports (Filters) - Resolved an issue that resulted in a timeout if multiple activity date filters were used at the same time
  • Outcomes - Updated the maximum number of allowable characters on the base salary field, to help support certain currency salaries that may result in a large number
  • Attributes - Resolved an issue with attribute visibility settings that could result in an attribute being shown to all users as opposed to the user group(s) specified on the attribute configuration
