Analytics Everywhere

Analytics Everywhere provides Administrators with access to 1-click, instant analytics across a variety of 12twenty modules. Users can review analytics within a certain timeframe and automatically compare data to previous time periods. 

Analytics Everywhere is available in these modules:

  • Students & Alumni Engagement Directory
  • Appointments
  • Job Postings
  • Events

 


Comparisons

The comparison feature of Analytics Everywhere allows the user to compare data against an earlier time period.

  • The current Date Range compared to the Previous Period (Default)
    • Example: Last 30 days compared to the 30 days before
  • The current Date Range compared to the same Date Range of the Previous Year
    • Example: Jan. 1, 2023 to Jan. 31, 2023 compared to Jan. 1, 2024 to Jan. 31, 2024
  • The current Date Range compared to a Custom Period range

Intelligent Time Shifting: Analytics Everywhere makes adjustments to the comparison period to provide the most accurate layout of data. For example, If the day is Monday, August 14th, and the user is viewing “Last 7 days” (Monday, Aug. 7, 2023 - Monday, Aug. 14, 2023), comparing against Aug. 7, 2022 - Aug. 14, 2022 will not provide an accurate comparison. Aug. 7 - 14 of 2022 are Sunday - Sunday rather than Monday to Monday. Instead, we need to compare against Monday - Monday, which would be 8/8/2022 - 8/15/2022.

 


Demographics

Line charts containing data on views, or other actions like “Applied,” contain a “View Demographics” button available which allows the user to view additional demographic breakdowns for the selected metric. Selecting the “View Demographics” link opens a slide out, which presents the data for the following attributes.

  • Gender
  • Ethnicity
  • Graduation Year
  • Degree Program

Analytics by Module

Student & Alumni Engagement Directory

  • Visits - Number of times a student/alumni user has visited the directory
  • Profile Page Views - Number of times a student/alumni user has visited a student/alumni profile
  • Connections - Number of times a student/alumni user has clicked on the “Connect” button on a student/alumni profile

Job Postings

  • Total Job Postings - Sum of job postings created (excludes draft status)
  • Total Unique Employers - Count of distinct employers
  • Job Listing Views - Sum of job postings viewed
  • Applications - Sum of applications

Interviews

  • Interview Requests - Sum of OCI registration created (excludes draft status)
  • Interview Job Postings - Sum of OCI job postings created where status (excludes draft and inactive status)
  • Interview Job Postings by Industry - Interview job postings by industry associated with a job posting
    • Visibility Condition - Only show chart if job posting “Industry” attribute is enabled
  • Interview Job Postings by Employment Type - Interview job postings by employment type associated with a job posting
    • Visibility Condition - Only show chart if job posting “Employment Type” attribute is enabled

Events

  • Total Events - Sum of events by start date (excludes draft status)
  • Hosted By - Count of Employers
  • Event Format - “Event Format” attribute
  • Registrants - Sum of registrants (exclude waitlisted students)
  • Attendees - Sum of registrants with “Attended” = true

Job Fairs

  • Job Fairs - Count
  • Employers - Sum of unique Employers registered
  • Event Format - Count of “Event Format” selections
  • Job Fair Registrants - Sum of registrants
  • Job Fair Meetings Booked - Sum booked scheduled meetings
  • Job Fair Attendees - Sum of registrants with “Attended” = true
  • Job Fair Meetings Attended - Sum of booked scheduled meetings where “Attended" = true”

Appointments

  • General
    • Total Appointments - Sum of booked appointments
    • Appointment Block Utilization Rate - Sum of booked appointment hours divided by the sum of appointment block hours
      • Note 1: A utilization rate of more than 100% is possible if an appointment is created outside of an appointment block.
      • Note 2: If an appointment exists on a day, and there are no appointment blocks, we will count that day as “100%” since otherwise there is a “divide by 0” error.
    • Appointments by Appointment Type - Sum of booked appointments by the "Appointment Type"
    • Appointment Hours by Appointment Type - Sum of booked appointments hours by the "Appointment Type"
    • Attendance Rate - Count of booked appointments where “attendance” = true divided by the count of booked appointments
    • No Show Rate - Count of booked appointments where “no show” = true
  • Advisors
    • Appointments by Advisor - Count of booked appointments
    • Appointment Hours by Advisor - Sum of booked appointment hours by the "Appointment Type"
    • Appointment Note Rate by Advisor - Sum of booked appointments where “Has Note” = true divided by the sum of booked appointment
  • Students & Alumni
    • Appointments by Student Group - Count of booked appointments
    • Appointment Hours by Student Group - Sum of booked appointments hours by "Student Group"
    • Appointments by College/School - Count of booked appointments by "College/School"
    • Appointment Hours by College/School - Sum of booked appointments hours by "College/School"

Analytics Everywhere is available through a module's sub-menu via the dropdown:

An admin's access to Analytics Everywhere is restricted by their User Role configurations. Ensure the following Admin User Role conditions have been met for Analytics Everywhere access:

  • Students & Alumni Engagement Directory
    • “Access Student & Alumni Directory” admin permission
  • Appointments
    • Only visible to admins with “View All Adviser Appointments” permission
  • Job Postings
    • Only visible to admins with “Manage Job Postings” permission
  • Events
    • Only visible to admins with “Manage Events” permission

 


Customization

Analytics Everywhere is not configurable at this time. Your platform's configuration can alter the charts and graphs that are available for your platform. If you are expecting to see a chart or graph mentioned above, please review your enabled and disabled attributes for the module to ensure that the required attribute is enabled and in use.
