All-New Job Posting & Event Homepage

The all-new Job Posting & Event Homepage provides students & alumni with a personalized, dynamic view of jobs and events. The homepage will be the first place users visit when selecting the module, while still having the ability to search for specific listings via the list page that exists today.

This article provides a preview of the Job Posting Homepage experience and will help answer any questions you may have. If you have additional questions, please contact customersuccess@12twenty.com.

How the Homepage Works

The homepage is dynamically generated based on what is known about the user, such as their degree, job preferences, recent activity and more.

General Rules

  • Eligibility rules (who can view/apply) are the same on the homepage as they are on the list page
    • Note on eligibility updates: Job posting eligibility updates for active postings may take up to an hour to reflect on the homepage. During this time, students may see job postings they are no longer eligible for or may not see postings they just became eligible for until the updates are processed.
  • Jobs and events are presented in a "carousel" format, with a horizontal scroll and shows up to 20 jobs per section. If a section has no results, the section will be hidden.
  • If user has viewed or applied to the job, they will see a “Ribbon” on the upper left of the card indicating that they have applied to the job, or viewed it previously
  • Students & alumni can still get to the list page via a variety of options. See "Viewing the List Page" section below for examples
  • Different job types (standard, interviews and 12twenty job listings) will still be distinguished via an icon next to the job title, just like they are today on the list page
  • The homepage experience is for students and alumni users only, and is not admin facing, however admins can easily view the experience by logging in as a student or alumni
  • The order of the sections below cannot be customized

For a description of each section, by order of appearance, and how they work please see the summaries below.
